Works best with western or endurance saddles that have the lower Dee rings on the front of the saddle. The Western is padded, too, just like our Brice and Kickapoo Breast Collar. Click image to enlarge	Brice Padded Breastplate by Taylored Tack If you prefer a padded breast collar, then this one is for you! There are others out there that look similar, but our's is better because there is no excess, loose strapping to run amuck. The strapping is held in place by little keepers to keep strapping neat and tidy! The only excess on this breast collar is around the chest ring. I have left a little padding to help cover the chest ring. The waffle padding on the Brice is the best out there because it is the same waffle padding the Amish use on their harnesses. You know what kind of wear and tear those harnesses get. Talk about endurance testing! The waffle padding is made from a soft vinyl that has a honey-comb pattern for breathability. This stuff is very easy to clean, too. (The Padded is shown here in 3/4” Royal Blue Beta with Stainless Steel hardware.)The waffle padding is available in Black only. 	WESTERN NEOPRENE BREAST COLLARS by Timberline Our TIMBERLINE neoprene breast collars protect your horse's shoulders from rubbing--in contrast to traditional breast collars which pass directly over the moving shoulder. Our construction lets the breastplate pass upward from the center of the chest to fasten high on the front of the saddle. This holds the saddle well in the uphill, without causing chaffing. Soft, but durable neoprene wet suit foam cushions the horse and is slick when wet for comfortable security.
