"Notes from a Rookie" is my way of sharing personal thoughts,
ruminations and insights about horses in general and endurance riding in particular. Many riders new to endurance riding
feel bashful with their rookie status, but being a "rookie" is a wonderful place to be--open, fresh, and hungry
for new information. I hope I never lose my "rookie spirit".....and I hope the veterans and pros remember
